Daniel Pope is a engineering major at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.
Daniel began racing karts at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in 1994. He posted his first win the following year. His kart racing career kept the wheels rolling to tracks in Tennessee, Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and New York.
Daniel won the National Karting Championship in Bandit Racing Chassis Speedway Pavement Series in 2001.
Late in the 2002 season he stepped into Legends Semi-Pro Division at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. He moved up to the Pro Division in 2003 winning his first Legends race in the Pro Division in and finishing third in points for the 2003 season.
In 2004 it was time to make a big move into Late Model Stock Cars running the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Music City Motorplex in Nashville. For Daniel's rookie year in Late Models he finished fifth in points at Music City Motorplex and finished in the top fifty nationally in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.
